There's actual science and intellectuality, but only within the realms of what they say about science.
The humor itself is pretty bad, and poorly represents "le nurd cultrure XDDDDD"
Also the guy totally refuses to even try to learn how to improve his art, which is pretty artistically ignorant.

You could eliminate all text but the words "High five location" and "moving sidewalk", and you'd still understand perfectly that these guys are about to be awesome. Look at how both the sticks are posed. There are no faces in this, all you've really got to display character emotion is with the body language.
Please tell me you aren't referring to XKCD.
Because if you're saying that the guy should learn how to improve his stick figures, then A) you'd be retarded and B) dare to compare.

If you're saying that his art is bad, then no, you're actually quite wrong. It's simplistic, sure. But that's his style. His lines are good, the sticks are expressive, the drawings of non-stick things are by no means ugly; you just don't like his art.
