Re: War Thunder
Yeah. Some planes do feel like paper now, though. And the fires, oh gods the fires. EDIT: Man, the guys repaired that broken, flaming wreckage in a minute? That's fast.

Just started playing finally First match with Japanese planes Certainly interesting, still don't understand the respawn system Can't believe I got my wing shot off and still managed to pull off a landing Pretty fun game though, what control scheme do you guys use?

Re: War Thunder
Mouse Aim for AB, Realistic w/ Joystick for HB and FRB. Got the Bf-109 E-3 for the Germans a few days ago. That thing is a ♥♥♥♥ beast. The Beaufighter desperately needs a flight model. Right now it handles like an american BnZ energy fighter. AND it has 4 cannons. In tier 5.
Also, my favourite planes so far are the American F2A-3 Buffalo and the P-40E Kittyhawk. Especially the Kittyhawk.

Re: War Thunder
I don't know about anyone else, but me and Kettenkrad were having some trouble levelling the Germans so we converted free experience Oddly it's really easy for me to level with the Japanese
Anyway Stuka fun-times now with minimal effort

Re: War Thunder
Germans get good at ranks 6 and 7. Their early planes are pretty ♥♥♥♥, compared to other countries'.

Re: War Thunder
Yeah I noticed, especially with the burst firing guns Still I can't help but be overjoyed when flying a stuka and then hearing the siren go off

Re: War Thunder
Beaufighters have a pretty damn broken flight model at the moment. As do La-5FNs and La-7s. Goddamn Russian UFOs.

I think I'll just play with bombers and fighter-bombers until I suck less. I love this game so far, though. Might need to get a joystick just for it. EDIT: Natti how did you even >20k XP ;_; Most I've got was ~5k, from a few well placed bombs..

Re: War Thunder
Iunno, some matches just go very well for me. Just keep an altitude advantage at all times, stay aware of the tactical situation, locations of enemies and friendlies etc. I usually only go for fights I know I will win. It helps a lot when you know most planes' weaknesses and strongpoints.

Re: War Thunder
I don't think I've actually come into contact with any Beaufighters yet Perhaps I'm subconsciously staying away from them Just a random note that you can test flight any "premium" planes which aren't gifts if anyone is interested Bombing against cruisers and heavy tanks, always double tap
