You hurtle towards the light for a few seconds, and it grows brighter and the voices clearer, until you can underst-
*WHUMP*
"...Ow."

Ok there is a large pane of mind-glass blocking you from the light. BUT. You can see it now, and hear the voices. The light is actually coming from a large elliptical window, about twice as wide as it is tall. It's displaying an image right now, the edges a bit fuzzier than the center, which is crystal clear.
The scene being displayed is 3 people walking down a tunnel.

Emogotsaone (Jamal) [7]:
Finally, you've got your bearings and your senses back to functional. With that, you easily catch up to Raphael, who's managed to make a small fire.

*BAWOOOOH*
"Hmm? You say something Raph?"
"Nope."

Izen (Theron) [8]:
*Cough*
As if on cue...
*pipipipipipipipipipipi*
"Hmm?"

Eric, being the nearest, gets up and checks the source of the beeping. Which happens to be a small, old screen connected to a jumble of wires leading along the wall and out the tunnel you entered through.
"What is it?"
"Coming from the south. Multiple."

The others suddenly tense up.
"♥♥♥♥, really? Does it look like Wendigos?"
Eric studies the screen for a few seconds, then grimaces and nods once.
"♥♥♥♥. Grab your ♥♥♥♥. Newbie, you too, we're hotfooting it back to base."
The three of them quickly grab a few things around the room, then quickly head for the tunnel. You follow, confused and worried.

Character:

CrazyMLC (Maria Crazer) [7]:
Hmm.
"Wait, let's search him first."
"Ehhh... Oh what the hell, sure."

Working together, you rifle through his possessions, removing all the weapons he has on him, a few pieces of assorted equipment, and some kind of large staff. Weird.
Whatever, you and Rose bag it all, then hogtie this guy to his staff so you can carry him back to camp like some kind of tribal prize.
You should probably bring this all back, actually. This is pretty major.

Character:


JJA79 (Rose Fors) [5]:
"Wait, let's search him first."
"Ehhh... Oh what the hell, sure."

You assist Maria in liberating the man of his toys, bag them up in Maria's bag, and then tie him to the large wooden rod he had.
Dunno why he had this thing. It's a nice staff you guess, but not much use way out here in the tundra. Too fancy, this belongs hanging on a wall or something.

You try to form a sort of earth-suit, but your control over Chakra isn't fine enough to do something like that. You could make a hollow mound, or maybe a wall of some kind though.
You confirm that you definitely heard something, some kind of... howl. It makes all the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, and chills you much harder than the snow and ice.

You quickly stare to the southwest. You see... a something with the body-sensing abilities of your glasses. Several somethings, actually. Staring at them long enough, it seems they're getting closer.

"Wendigos? Like those spirit things? What are you talking about?"
"Christ, you really don't know anything."

You reach the ladder last, and head up quickly after the others. Topside, the snow is still coming down, but not as heavily as before.
"Wendigos are bad news. Take a gorilla, mix in the size, claws, and teeth of a polar bear, give it big horns and make it hate everything about humans."
"Well that sounds nasty, but nothing we can't-"
"And THEN, we get to their powers. Each Wendigo has different powers at random, from, ♥♥♥♥ how to describe it... A selection I guess? They're random from a group of powers that Wendigos can have."
"Freezing touch, paralyzing scream, life draining, life sensing, supernatural strength and endurance, but ugh, those aren't the worst."

Maxwell nods grimly.
"The worst is their... eating. All Wendigos have this power, regardless of all the others.
For each human life they devour, they can replace their own with that one."
"What?"
"He MEANS that each time a Wendigo eats a person alive, that Wendigo can come back to life once."

...Oh.

Your group is now moving Northeast, and you're close to the edge of the Tundra.

You and Rose heft the man, then get trooping back towards the main camp.

Many minutes later, you approach the outside of the camp, and the Sentries are alerted to your presence.
Halt! Who goes there?
"Maria and Rose, with a prisoner."

A few seconds pass, and an uncomfortable feeling probes your mind a bit. Soon after, it releases you.
Proceed, Maria.
You nod to no one in particular, but the two of you head on into camp anyway. In camp, there are multiple shelters set up, from simple wood and branch huts to large tarps drawn tight over tent pole constructions. There's the sleeping quarters, food hut, storage tent, a couple other miscellaneous huts and tents mostly belonging to the higher ranking members, and then Valentina's tent.
What do you do with the prisoner?

You and Maria head towards the camp, and after a brief stop with the sentry, you head in without problems. People are giving your prisoner funny looks, but nothing too bad. You do what you have to, and he struck first anyway.
