This is the most funny CC mod I've ever seen.

Also it runs in b27 for me, but not all maps are supported.

The only missing thing is the possibility to control both teams, Red and Green team, so we can switch team whenever we want :)

Sorry for double posting, but this has been my CC dream by years now.

I'm not good in lua scripting even if I read a lot of tutorials.

So I'm asking you experts: "is this possible to modify file spectate.rte in order to have the possibility of controlling both team? For example by pressing button "1" we control the red team and the green one is lead by CPU, viceversa, by pressing button "2" we play as green team and red one is now our CPU enemy"

I hope my question il clear, thanks for your attention.

Having trouble with this, the ai wont spawn anything it says they do but they never land, just in the air where the brain is. Was hoping to watch the AI mess each other up. i know this mod isnt up to date with 1.0 but still

Hi everyone!

I "fixed" this mod for 1.0.

There seemed to be some problem creating the actors the AI orders, I'm not quite sure as I never modded CC.

What I did:

* At the start it chooses a tech for each team and then orders units corresponding to the chosen tech.
* You can switch techs with '3' for Team 1 and '4' for Team 2. (It cycles randomly through the available techs as I don't know how to cycle in order)
* The AI only orders "Light Infantry" so it's more fair, but chooses between every available weapon for the tech.
* Units of both teams get a go-to-order on spawn towards the enemy landing zone so one side doesn't stand around all the time. (Con is you get those waypoint lines for Team 1)
* I reduced the probability that one teams orders a drop in the enemy landing zone.
* I also edited which landing zones are used (now Team 1 LZ and Team 3 LZ) so they don't constantly drop on each other in a huge cluster ♥♥♥♥ of explosions.

If you want to change what kind of actors get ordered look into the .lua at row 252 and 297 and change "Light Infantry" to "Actors" for all available actors or "Heavy Infantry" for... heavy infantry.

Also starting it on the "Nuts" difficulty seems to get the most action going. On "Nuts!" you get dropships constantly crashing into each other. On the lower difficulty it's possible that one Team get's completely dominated by the other.

Oh, I didn't know. I assumed those would be fair game as the mod already used the keys 1 & 2.
Is it a problem? If so, could you look over those http://wiki.datarealms.com/Keylist and tell me which would be a better choice?

7,8,9 & 0 would be OK then? Editing that would merely consist of maybe five keystrokes.

This is a great mod, but now in 1.05 it doesn't work for me

i start a match in skirmish defense and i have to call reinforcements as usual

they don't arrive automatically :???:

so what's wrong?

sorry, my fault, I retested it and now it works properly in 1.05 :)

still doesn't support all scenes anyway it rocks very hard! :grin:

the mod should read automatically all characters that are in "actors" category, so vanilla and mods units are available in this mod

Odd.. if I cycle through with 3/4 and start a million rounds it never loads custom techs I have installed.
