I haven't even beaten SMB yet. :U Lovely drawing too, perfectly illustrates what happens to Meat Boy 98,8% of the time when i play, heh. also time to apply sharp contrast to robolee's and madmax's incredible work with UGLY THICK-LINE DINOSAUR FACE Implied lines are lovely things.

Re: Art Dump
@Nonsequitorian: Thanks, it's not that yellow actually, just the lighting. And yeah, it's nothing extraordinary, I just wanted a nice utility knife for camping and such, because my Buck fixed blade is a bit on the large side. @Adriaan: Thanks. I'm pleased you said that because I've tried to learn some of the hatching techniques some renaissance printmakers/etching use, they are a strong inspiration to me. @Bombzero: Rustic is what I was aiming for, thanks. One last shot with the finish applied and polished, axe thrown in for theme. Thanks for all the feedback guys, you've been greatly supportive.

Re: Art Dump
madmax is that hat wearing fellow Discworld inspired? Either way I love the style you've developed.
Also regarding my dwarf drawing (Gloin from the hobbit as seen in promo posters) there's a few problems with the darkness of the hair because all I had was HB. today I got a new clutch pencil and mechanical pencil, I got 2B lead @0.5mm for my mechanical and 4B lead @2mm for my clutch pencil. (the particular models are the rotring 300 and rotring 500). So I'm going to try another dwarf soon, Oin I think. I base the one I want to draw on the dwarven might of their beard.

I'm not the only person that sees the outline of a head, face, and shoulders?

I can see a blurry lump. Calling it a head, face and shoulders is a bit generous You could probably see anything in there, it's like looking at shapes in clouds

This is a DF tileset I made a while ago, I felt like dumping it.

Re: Art Dump
It's back, I'm sorry. I tried something a bit more like the original.

Re: Art Dump
Pretty good shot, Emotsaone. think I prefer the original though, simply because I like the extra space above the crane, it feels kinda cramped without it, plus those hills add a lot to it IMO.
@Robolee, I'm not familiar with Discworld, is it anything like Ringworld? I love Ringworld.

Wow, actually that feedback helps a ton because I got so caught up in the bird that I didn't even notice the hills! secret edit

Re: Art Dump
I edited the beast people things' raws so they could be used in DF Adventure Mode. Then set up a Serpent Man explorer. The only option is to have an outsider, so they have no clothes, only a dagger and spear. I ditched the dagger and found a second spear, a flask, and a backpack in some lairs I cleared. This is Udos Urrlthatham.

Re: Art Dump
Pretty good looking character Matty, clean lines, anatomy (for the human half at least) is looking pretty good too... though something about the shoulders that seems odd, I think it's the sharpness of the deltoid muscles. Possibly thin neck for the physique too.
@Non: Hehe, that's my frontier axe, love that little lightweight axe, great chopper. Though it doesn't see too much use unfortunately. If you successfully make something like that I would love to see it. Why not put the hammer on the poll, opposite to the blade? That's how I see most tomahawks with hammers and it seems pretty handy.
