Any of you guys have halo 4? 'Cause I got it a few days ago, I love the campaign very good... but to short, and the fact of how much Halo 4 relies on Xbox ♥♥♥♥ live, it pisses me off, I don't feel like paying for Xbox live and now the only way to have fun on that game is guess what, pay for it, I already got the god damn game so why do they have to make it where I got to pay MORE just to enjoy myself, I personally think that is ♥♥♥♥ retarded with a capitol R.

Xbox Live is basically required to use the majority of the features on the Xbox 360. If you don't feel like paying for online services, just get a PS3.

No no you don't get it, most games have something that makes it entertaining for single player, like in previous halos, forge, that got entertaining but they did such a wonderfully shitty job on forge for halo 4, so now that I've beaten the campaign I got ♥♥♥♥ to do because bungie gave up the franchise, and bungie always did good on the halo games, but now it's pretty much ruined, so if there is a next halo game I'm not even going to think about buying it due to the fact it was a product of a companies laziness (bungie handing over franchise to 343) so now I realize that the halo franchise for me will be forever ruined.

@Painbringed So the franchise is ruined because your mommy doesn't want to shell out for xbox live for you every year?

Sounds like a credible source.

@LVK that just means you're going to grow a neckbeard at some point in your life, probably at puberty.

I think a lack of singleplayer content from a series that usually does provide adequate singleplayer content is a fairly valid complaint, but it's not like that usually matters when you are talking to Lizzrd

Forge has become easier to use, and the singleplayer is still basically the same as before, except it actually makes Master Chief into a person. Most big budget games have an expansive multiplayer suite, and it is the same for all recent Halo games. Heck, the majority of Reach was based around multiplayer, including the campaign. The last Halo game that was completely based around the singleplayer was Halo 2, but you may have a different opinion.

Also, 343 has done a wonderful job with taking over the IP. Halo 4 has been much better than most people expected, and it rivals what Bungie did with it.

ALSO, learn to expect mostly every game to have at least some aspect of multiplayer in it. Gaming has steadily been pushed towards social and multiplayer gaming, as seen with App gaming and the COD franchise. People enjoy multiplayer gaming, and companies see that. If you want an excellent singleplayer game, look towards indie games, not popular franchises.

that is the longest sentence i've ever seen that still contains commas

maybe it really does cost more fuel to drive angry??

In other news, New Years Eve approaching. Y'all gonna blow up the sky or just hang inside like lazy buttdudes? Or maybe blow up the sky and then do an all-nighter with your trusty gaming platform, with your testicles dangling furiously underneath your sweaty, pantsless body as you move in tact with the player character? I'm personally going to blow up the sky and then watch TV for the following 3 hours in a state of near-coma. At home.

I will probably ignore that a new year has or has not dawned (whichever is most applicable) and play video games until I am comatose.

I think we're driving to visit my grandma and aunt so it's unlikely I'll be doing much drinking
Stepping over dogs (there will be six at least) and watching TV most likely

Oh man do NOT get me started.
Halo 4 is not a Halo game. It is a big-budget game-shaped Halo Fanfiction. Halo 4 as a game is passable, although they did a couple things to the gameplay itself I take issue with (♥♥♥♥ QUICKTIME EVENTS), the shooting and such generally holds up with the previous games.

The Campaign though. Oh jesus christ what did 343 do. So much about the story just makes me want to pull my hair out, from
it just shits all over the established lore and is happy about it.
Yeah, MC cares more about Cortana and such, but he's the best soldier in all of humanity, not an everyday Joe who loves his AI and, I dunno maybe I'm just biased since I read the books and love the universe, but I don't feel like the choice to voice MC more was a good thing.

Also I read somewhere that 343 was "making Halo 4 have a more sci-fi look". Whoever decided that was a good idea, I will cut your fingers off.

I think the ones who hated Halo 4's story were all the people like us who read the books and played the series since the start.
