 Re: Art Dump
Cool, everyone's trying out MyPaint, it's a really decent painting program...I just really wish it had basic editing tools like cutting/pasting. Got a new sketchbook a few days ago, here are the first few pages.

 Re: Art Dump
Just a little work in progress sketch. I think I'm getting slightly better at anatomy, right arm and hand are a little odd though. The left shoulder is more or less correct, shoulders just look weird when significantly raised. Shoulders might be a little too wide for females still, but counterbalanced slightly by increasing the width of the hips. Any opinions on the clothing? does it look decent?

 Re: Art Dump
Definitely an improvement! The shoulders do look like they're raised. In relaxed position they would form sort of a triangle shape underneath the head. The upper body looks a bit out of proportion compared to the large lower body area and the feet don't match up in perspective compared to how the legs are positioned. Clothing's not bad either, although there seem to be a few too many folds than would really be necessary. Look for points where the cloth is suspended from, extend pull lines out from there and check where they intersect (if they do). This vid might be useful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vIO4ODhm0tc

The one that really irritates me is when people say "X is bad" but don't say why, thusly being completely ♥♥♥♥ useless. P.S. Of all the things, breasts seem to be the thing people are most opinionated about, and EVERYBODY has a different idea of how they should look...

 Re: Art Dump
Breasts are hard to get completely right though (and I almost wrote 'get a grasp of'), and even then some people like anti-gravity balloon boobs and some prefer more naturally hanging ones. This isn't anything aimed at how you've drawn them, though, you'll get around it.
