I've been getting lots of people gifts on Steam and I've been unboxing every Naughty/Nice crate I find in TF2.
We have a Christmas tree and it is small and adorable and I doubt any form of gift will fit under it.

Because the GTX's they had on sale were not as good as the Raedons on sale.
Also I had an 80 dollar cap for myself, so a 130 dollar worth graphics card was on sale for 80, outclassing the other stuff there.

Christmas just makes me feel guilty. I literally have everything I want and when my relatives ask me for a list I feel terribly not doing it because I'm being a grinch but when I do do it I have to try really hard to think of ♥♥♥♥ that I wouldn't just toss in the back of my closet. I can't even reciprocate the scrambling of possession because I don't really have a source of income and any gift I could make myself would be irrelevant (pixel art or other game/internet related stuff) or trite (macaroni crafts maybe). So every Christmas I sit and receive things I don't really care about and try to fake a smile to lend some validity to what is a subversion of an otherwise perfectly good family get together.

I'm not anti Christmas or like "omigod just capitalist ritual u sheeple" just I personally don't really feel comfortable in it. You guys ever feel like this?

Christmas always makes me feel bad about myself since I'm a lazy bastard and can't be arsed to buy gifts for people.

On the contrary, I have a similar situation but have clearly established that I like visa gift cards and cash for Christmas and caused this to become the norm gift for me. I really don't feel guilty about it at all because I don't have any source of income and other people know this.

I don't trust anybody else to buy exactly what I want for Christmas, and I feel shameful when I think it.

I don't really give a ♥♥♥♥ what I get for Christmas any more as long as they tried, I've got most of the stuff I need already

I know what I'm getting for Christmas this year, and I'm hyped. A new processor and XCom. ♥♥♥♥ yes.

Generally the only presents I receive are from my dad and I know what they are because I asked for them. I don't really feel guilty about that since I know what I want and he doesn't really mind buying me things for Christmas.
I also get the occasional Steam gift or whatnot and I sometimes feel bad if I don't play that game enough but whatever.

For family get togethers I almost always just get garbage but I don't really care since I get to hang out with my radsauce cousins and my grandparents.

I hate when I get something I wanted a long time but either grew out of it, or never got around to using it. It feels wasteful.

I don't care at all if I get anything at all, I probably will though - Just fake a smile and say "thanks", never look at the stuff again.
