Alright so I converted the jet.ogg file to jet.wav and changed the .ini but it still crashed so I just removed the jet part from the ini and it worked Also I can't start the Verdan activity if I do it just crashes to the main menu with a lot of console errors

It sounds like you are running the R8 version. Try deleting the Air Support rte and download the latest version again.

Woah, an update! Fantastic, will try asap, cause this was one of the first mods I downloaded that made me go wow.
Do you think it'd be ok if I use the Transportship code for UNSC Pelicans? (you say I can in your first post, but I'd like to ask anyways)

Love this mod great idea, I just wish that the landing "legs" for the gunships were not so destructive to terrain, and that when they were deployed, the gunship would stay inert resting on the ground with its jets turned off. It is constantly trying to move around when I leave it on AI and do something else etc.

Necro so that someone knowledgeable can post instructions on enabling the mortar drop-pod. I forgot, but this is the BEST mortar in the game so I really want it.
These SAM sites are also the best. All other's I've seen shoot straight into terrain. This is the only one that imbues the missiles with ground avoidance-logic.

Re: Air Support (R10: 2014-04-19)
Figured it out on my own. It had something to do with editing and adding some text in the crates folder in actors.
Unfortunately it's late, and 7zip doesn't seem to want to compress my Air Support .rte for ease of upload...and the file selector here on the forums won't let me select Air Support.rte either. I wanted to upload my version with the working mortar drop for you all, but another day apparently.
