So guys, I've been working on a sketch for a bit and I came to an issue of sorts.
I really do not know how to do imaginary lines properly, so in this particular instance...


The lines outlining the breasts underneath the shirt are clearly too strong in this case, but I do not actually know how to "Imply the shape with less line" any advice from our more talented line artists?
(Asking here because DRLFF seems to be slightly better at... useful advice for the more technical aspects of art)

That is a sentence I did not previously think I would see at any point in time, thanks for the tutorial though.

Side note, I think I know the problem with the neck, that line on the left side of it should continue back not curve forward, as though the jawline was covering the upper part of the neck, thanks for pointing that out!


EDIT: Ok, after a few tries I have something presentable, and btw if you use the tips from that tutorial the shape damn near defines itself. (left breast automatically had the "pulled back look" as a result of being attached where it is, Same with the right breast being "pushed in" and being closer to the arm that's forward.)

Right boob should maybe be angled more flatly and pointed toward us more.

Unless her breasts are pointing at the camera completely independent of her body, I cannot see that as correct... (Just btw they're positioned as though she is wearing a slightly tight shirt, not as though she was wearing loose clothing or nude.)

Bomb, it's facing towards us a lot more than it is to the side. But I must say that is some rather sketchy shading.

Yes but I felt coop's example was a bit too extreme.

However, yeah the shading is just something I did in 10 minutes to give somebody I was talking to in IRC a better idea of what I was going for, has some mistakes and isn't very smooth, Still planning on doing a full coloring/shading of it at some point.
