I personally don't like napping. I always feel like the world ended without me when I nap. Plus, it makes sleeping at the correct time harder because you aren't as tired.
I'm usually not tired enough to have to take a nap anyway.

NAPS ARE FOR WEAKLINGS

WEAKLINGS WHO CANNOT HANDLE SLEEP DEPRIVATION

That said though, i have been fairly tempted many times. And also involuntarily fallen into microsleeps during lectures. And long car/train/aeroplane trips. But hey, at least there isn't much else to do in those situations (whadda ya mean listen to the professor).

I can't not agree with Shook.
On a somewhat related note, I need to start sleeping more than 6 hours per night.

Sleeping 12+ hours is the best thing ever.

Sleeping too much gives me headaches. I usually go to sleep at 3:00 AM and wake up 7:00 AM (:

It's not usually the sleeping that gives you headaches but the fact that you haven't drunk anything for an extended period of time

Yeah, that.
I usually only nap during travels, like Shook said, or during school. Like Shook said.
Usually the school part only encompasses free time though, I don't like sleeping during lessons even if I don't want to be at school that day. I still need to know how to do the homework.

Napping messes up my internal clock, I'm actually more productive if I wait until night time to sleep rather than taking a nap and getting all disoriented.

Post Re: The Lounge
It is healthiest to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.

On Mondays I wake up at 3:30 PM, go to bed at 3:30 AM
On Tuesdays I wake up 10:30 AM, go to bed at 2:30 AM
On Wednesdays I wake up at 8:30 AM, go to bed at 4:30 AM
On Thursdays I wake up at 12:30 PM, go to bed at 6:30 AM.
On Fridays I get up whenever I feel like it which usually means about 3:30 PM, go to sleep at similar times.

Yesterday I went to bed today at 10 AM and woke up at 6.

To be honest I don't think I would stay up late at all if it weren't a moral kind of thing.

Post Re: The Lounge
muricans are probably still the most well known users of the 12-hour clock so cut him some slack brolmes

Just like how they insist on clinging to the imperial measurement system. ALL THE SENSE, SODOMIZED IN EVERY ORIFICE WITH BURNING GENITALS (i've even heard americans saying that it's silly).
- 1000 thou's to an inch
- 12 inches to a foot
- 3 feet to a yard
- 22 yards to a chain*
- 10 chains to a furlong*
- 8 furlongs (or 5280 feet) to a mile
- 3 miles to a league*

Compared to metrics:
- 10 millimeters to centimeter
- 10 centimeters to a decimeter*
- 10 decimeters to a meter
- 10 meters to a decameter*
- 10 decameters to a hectometer*
- 10 hectometers to a kilometer
- 1000 kilometers to a MEGAMETER*

* not used super often

I may be a silly ♥♥♥♥ european (or yooropeon) but holy croissant guys, how do you even remember all those conversion rates? I am moderately astounded by it. :U

fun note: i nurture no dislike towards americans, y'all are cool dude(tte)s <3
