I'm sixteen, and I play indi games, like CC. I sometimes play games from 2000 - 2010 because they are more original and interesting, along with being a lot less politically correct. Take Fable, Overlord, Black & White and Dark Messiah for examples.
I find some good/evil games quite fun, although I often obsess about being perfectly good/evil.
I hate achievements, and I despise unlocks.
I like games with good and original storylines like the aforementioned.

Someone describing Fable or Black and White as an example of an old game makes me feel old
And also helps highlight to me how ridiculous people can get about their belief in things produced around the age they were born being superior

Different for everyone. I don't think they are "old style games" like from playstation 1 and super nintendo times, I tihnk that the 2000 - 2010 era was quite good for games, since it was seemingly the peak of quality, graphics to gameplay-wise.
I've played quite a few older games, mainly when I was quite young, like donkeykong for a start, I spent all day every day for weeks and weeks trying to finish that damn thing. I still have a PS1 and Super Nintendo 64, not that I ever use them. I was up until I found the internets.
I seem to be attracting much hostility lately, I think I'll go hide in a corner...

I just kinda play whatever catches my attention and turns out to be fun. Sandboxes, RPGs, driving games, shooters, strategy games, heck. It's also (I personally think) a nice way to interact with friends and other people. I'm 15.

I'm 14

I play games for the rush they give me, and the experience.

In real life I can't go soaring off a cliff at 50 miles per hour,
in a prias,
tumble ten times, have a crapload of bullets poured into my car, smash into a tree, and survive.

I love BioShock, Skyrim, Dead Space 2, and Just Cause 2.
