Well Back when my graphic card Melted (only allowing me to be in safe mode i should say) I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of a Turn base RPG Stragey game, like fire emblem called Battle for wesnoth, rather a fun sprite base Free to play game, loads of mods and free content.

Battle For Wesnoth is still being actively developed, actually. And it blows Fire Emblem out of the water. If you wanna play it online with me, I could redownload it at some point. There was actually a thread here, but it's on page 3 and never took off.

I think I'm just attracting that sort of thing lately though, I feel like I might be causing a little too much friction with some of my replies.

Nexus the Jupiter Incident is good. If you want more depth, try Sword of the Stars. Either the complete collection of the first, or the second (All clear flag was waved, game is good to go). If you want more depth, but less strategy, try X3 Terran Conflict. That game is a gauntlet, to say the least. But the rewards for being successful in that game, are grand.

It's aged a little, but the years have been very kind to the game, to say the least. The graphics still manage to impress.

When I last played the game, a few years ago, I had a massive trading empire, probably around two hundred freighters going across the map, with a central base in deep space near Sol, where most of my manufacturing facilities were located. I even participated in a war by using my shipyards to produce military vessels.

But remember X3 has a learning curve wall kinda like dwarf fortress.
Also Freelancer is a great space game, especially with Discovery mod.

many people won't get it, but those who do can't help but laugh at the stupidity.

So Hotline Miami was frigging sweet, a little short, but it was only 10$.

I agree, it's a really fun game. Gotta find all the secrets though.
