I really like the beard, matty - and the construction in general is really well done. It has real form to it. Nice job!

The helmet looks like it could have used a bit more work though. Where did his ears run off to?

Okay guys thanks a bunch, so I'll fix up the case of the phantom ear, rough up the helm, and make the buttons better.

So two days ago i was motivated to draw a pokemon for my girlfriend, and as a result it came out very well and im honestly very proud of it. i had previously done a ninetales,but honestly this one blows the previous one out of the water.

I didn't even have to resize the Ninetales art, that was the second result from Google in its original dimensions...

It only doesn't count if she finds out =p

At any rate retracing is a bit boring, and functionally useless from an educational perspective beyond learning basic linework and color matching if you do it by eye.

LordVonKain I would recommend you move to simply drawing something while looking at it, then once you get ok at the basics move on to drawing from imagination.

Quick sniper thingy:

Neat, really like the way it almost takes a second for your eye to find the sniper, exactly how it should be.

Is that sniper an elite one or just a regular one?

Hahah, was thinking of Enemy At The Gates and CoD2 mainly while doing it, I haven't played Sniper Elite.

I was just about to say it is very reminiscent of Enemy at the Gates. Good work. Some of the rubble in the foreground comes off as kinda blurry and muddy due to your low opacity brushes, gotta keep em sharp.
