Only game that's ever made me cry was To The Moon, which managed it repeatedly.
Films? All the time.

When I was watching BSG before, one scene made me genuinely cry, one of the few things that actually could.

I honestly don't think enough people realize just how emotional corpse party can be. Definitely one of my favorite games of all time. First time I've ever cried in a game.

Giving everyone a fair warning, this is a Borderlands 2 spoiler, I knew about it and I agree, it gave me the feels.

D'oh you throatwobbler, at least mention what game it is when you make a spoiler. Could've been any game in existence. :c (and as herbert mentioned, it's Borderlands 2)

I can only think of a few times I have ever cried via movie/game, some being out of grief, some out of pure weirdness. Top being when bill died on L4D2.

2. Castle Crashers at the end, during the credits. And then I laughed so hard at the fourth princess. It cheered me up immensely.
3. At the end of Amnesia after I got the good ending.
The rest of the list is movie scenes that do not need noticing.

I think I cried when I was playing Oregon Trail. I had nearly finished the game, I could actually see Oregon on the screen. Then It said "Nyan cat has a broken leg" and finally, when I was literally a few meters away from finishing the game, "Nyan Cat has died".

Nyan Cat was the name of my final party member btw.
