I'm uh, pretty bad at this game.

You are average, and both of you are still new to the game (especially you caekdaemon) so you still have ALOT to learn and improve.

By looking at your stats caekdaemon, I can see that you probably rushes forward alot trying to cap, try to stay back a little and support bigger tanks (I think you do this now to as you don't have many "spots") and hide behind them but be careful not to block them.

Oh, I stopped playing due to grind, I just couldn't be bothered to play the game anymore. When I did play, however, I usually support the main offensive while in my medium, backing up the heavies from behind using them as mobile cover in a sort of spearhead to punch the enemy where it hurts.

I probably should've went for the T1E2 instead of the M4A1. Hell, I wish you could've picked what kind of map you prefer, I hate open fields but love the tight corridors of urban maps.

T1E2 and M4A1? Do you mean the T1 heavy and M4 Sherman? If that is the case I've researched the T1 and am now researching the M4,
I just love the M3 Lee so much I don't mind playing it more to unlock the Sherman.
At least you can you choose the gametypes you play now, but I understand with the map types, some tanks are just awful in open situations

Clearly you're all playing the game wrong.

That site only works for EU, so I guess you are on the US server or extremely new to the game (as the database only updates a few times per week I think).

You can try here

You have many spots per battle, so I guess you rush or scout alot.
Try to hang back and stay alive, do a little sniping, let other tanks take the damage. Also you don't have to kill every tank you fire at, if you meet a big slow tank - just go past it, head for thier arty or cap. When the enemy sees thier base is getting caped/arty getting killed, they will get confused and some will go back to base, leaving a thinner defence-line for the rest of your team to cope with.
If you are trying to scout, try to rush as soon as possible to a good bush and don't move or shoot, rushing at the enemy-lines is not scouting. Scout is about the hardest thing to play in this game.

Stay alive as long as possible without camping in base, would be the best general tip.

Green is you.
Blue is me.
grey is server average.

I.. I really don't know what to say... Are you playing TD's, because I get this feeling you stay in base for most of the battle as you have excellent defence points (for interrupting caps) but have about zero spots (meaning you NEVER go first).

What you need to do is advance after your team or cover the flank they don't go (more targets). You survival rate is fine for not having that many battles under your belt, but this is probably beacuse you are back in the base twiddling your thumbs.

So, move up and stay alive - would be my tip.

As for your stats, they really don't mean anything at this point you need moar battles!

I just realised how much I regret spending my experience on the T1 Heavy instead of the M4, I think if you really want to go down the heavy line it's better to go down the M4A3E2 to get the M6, the T1 is really just an awful stepping stone, and it's pointless when unlocking the M4 opens up so many more possibilities.

Not yet, I unlocked the turret the other day, I understand it will make it better to play with, but even after that I just don't think it's worth it

I'm going to try this game.
Is there anything I should know before I get my ass kicked repeatedly?
