So this idea ive had has been floating around my head for a while, And ive finalyl decided to scribble it on paper for others to see. Imagine if you took Minecraft, Brickforce, Roblox, and KAG style world interaction and such and combined it with CC to make a 3D CC. You could create a 3D CC world out of very small Squares, Slabs, and Ramps, Using this players could purchase specific guns and such to place "blocks" (Bunker bits and so) or to destroy areas and mine gold. Then you could change to difrent units and such and attack the enemies and so forth.

Well thats it in a nutshell Il probably add more latter showing a little more indef of my thoughts.

I believe we've had this discussion many times before, and I have to disagree, it would get rid of some appeal to me, not havEing 100% destructible terrain.

I meant not every pixel being able to get removed, if this would be a thing, it would be made using the Atomontage engine, even then, that's a if.

This idea isn't precisely knew, specially since Data began tweeting things about Atomontage as unwoundpath said.

But no, it's very improbable to happen, since Data right now is busy with CVE (another game-engine he is creating) and finishing CC.

Dreaming is ok though, we all have fantasized with this idea for long.

I would certainly like to see a game like CC in 3d, but the spirit of CC itself is unashamedly 2d.

I'm pretty sure that's why he said something. I'd say go play Minecraft, because aside from the bit about ramps, this doesn't sound much different.

Regardless, the idea of a 3D CC has been brought up countless times and shot down over and over again. I'm not even going to bother explaining the obvious problems, just look up one of the old threads yourself, I'm fairly certain there are enough lying around a few pages back. Probably locked because of shitty opening posts providing little to no descriptions of ideas or explanations on how implement them. From your OP, it sounds like you wanted to give a small level of support and then go into a 4th grader level of discussion consisting of 'How kewl would dat B!?1!!'. If you want anybody to take you seriously rewrite the whole damn thing, give a decent length of around 3 paragraphs (a paragraph is at least 5 sentences, in case they haven't taught you that yet) and explain how it could realistically be implemented and for gods sake check your spelling and grammar, your posts are horrible to read.
