To be honest, my interest in CC faded away completely after the non-friendly fire stuff. For me the game doesn't feel like the insane mayhem it once was. *sniff*
Oh well.

Neccesary sacrifice to make it actually work as a game.
You can always mod it back in.

Really hope for bugfixes and polish. We we're trying to play it with 3 gamepads and it was quite painful with joypads disappearing or glitchnig.

I want my steam key, but I probably won't install CC1.0. Just more steam-peen. Nice to see the project finally finished though, I'm interested in where Data will go next.

Does this mean that meta-game compatible mods will be less difficult to make? Because that would be pretty rad, since at the moment i think it's a smidge bugged. Looking forward to trying it, even though i'll probably lose horribly in the meta-game. Strategy and me typically form a baby called "ATTACK WITH MORE ATTACK CHARGE BRAWL TANK".

This will be perfect for the workshop, as mods are so easy to install.

I could not be more excited. Are humble users getting steam keys? (not that I care, just curious)

Re: Estimated 1.0 release within a week
I've got a doubt, after 1.0 download will be as always (licensing.datarealms.com) and Steam or it will be only though Steam?

Anyone else notice the AI seems both much more viscous AND competent?
Sounds good.
