We pretty much only learned classical history (Greeks, Egyptians, etc) then after that the only wars we were taught about were ones that we won (and civil wars set in Britain)
The colonisation of America was mysteriously absent from the curriculum :V

We had a large unit on that, with a focus on the treatment of the natives. We also had a similar unit when we were doing about the British Empire, but for Australia and Africa.

We never had much American Revolution or British Empire stuff at all really.

I once had a pancake with ham, cheese and fried egg. I'd recommend it, though it's probably best on thinner pancakes.
