Re: Internet Nostalgia
Used to be frequent in powder toy forums, but god tired of the constant new people just pitching up. Minecraft forums. Used to lurk old forums but then Curse shat up the joint. DRFF is my most constant forum I guess.

Re: Internet Nostalgia
Homestar Runner, Weebl's Stuff. Random stickfigure animation forums.
I slutted myself around so much.
Then I found DRLFF, my one true love.
I still miss Homestar Runner though. I wish we could have stayed friends, but she kicked me in the balls and changed her phone number. She didn't move, but she never answers the door.

Re: Internet Nostalgia
DRLFF is the first and only forum I've been on and actively posted on. (I had never thought of forums as fun so I never went to one before)

Re: Internet Nostalgia
I posted a bit on TaleWorlds Forums' finnish section, but only a bit. DRLFF is the best community I've tried being a part of.

Re: Internet Nostalgia
So lets see ...
Yoman987's first use was on Runescape many many years ago, so long in fact that it doesn't exist there any more. From there I don't remember the exact path, but I spread across the 'webs like a virus, infecting most forums that I liked somewhat with my virtual taint. Google gives me 6,860 results, but of course that isn't the number of sites I'm a part of. Just a number. A large number.
I suppose Planet Half-life was back there in the early days, along with Hotmail of course. Probably about the same time would be Tremulous.net, xbox.com, xfire.com, bungie.net, halo.wikia.org and dA. Then probably you guys. Love you guys. This is the most active forum I've been on. Then Facebook I think. Maybe that was later. After DRLFF would probably be steampowered.com, Blockland for a while, Spore forums, ModDB, and finally Minecraft and Bukkit. Twitter and Youtube are in there somewhere, along with sooooo many more that a Google search won't even remember.
... and that's me, in an fat old nutshell.
Oh and yeah. Hi again, I'm back for a bit.

Re: Internet Nostalgia
I think I played a lot of runescape when I was little and then got over it.
took me a while to realize 'runescape takes turns, shooters don't.'
EDIT - I also played blockland for a while. Then it sucked and I got banned from their forums.

Probably Runescape premium forums. Or the "truth and reconciliation" forums (the original halo community site, got mixed into Bungie.org in 2004 ish.

Re: Internet Nostalgia
First forums were here and fun motion. Unfortunatly DRLFF was to me as the Halo forums were for benpasko lol. Unfortunately fun motion has been dead for quite some time. I spent some time on the phun forums and with yoyo games, also I tried to get active in the love2d forums but then my computer fried. :/ Oh, and about a year back I was having fun with experemental gameplay project, good times. Now I mainly lurk.
