The new test server for 8.0 is up, now you can piss around with physics and the first British tank in the game.

First person to drive a Maus off a cliff to land on a T1 Cunningham wins.

the physics test was up a while ago; since this is the actual 8.0 test, WG frowns upon unnecessary battle shenanigans (unless you do it in practice or w/e)

regardless, i have made it my mission to try out every tank

you heard me

Holy crap is the new USSR TD line OP or what? The new T10 have crazy camo value. I hope they will get hit by the big nerfing stick before the patch goes live.

Anyone have any experience with putting mods on WoT? I tried to put in a model mod to make the Leichtraktor into the Panzer I, but it didn't work very well and I had to reinstall the whole game.
I could see the model in my garage, but on the loading screen into a match it just freezes when it's fully loaded and then I have to quit.

I run a variety of mods on my installation of WoT, XVM and the Dynamic Artillery Rangefinder mod.

They are pretty easy to install, the hardest being XVM, and I did that while hammered off my ass so I expect any of you clowns can also do it.

model swaps are very iffy at best after they changed the game files around. If any tank on the other team as a tank you have modified - the game will not start for you.

I took these genuine screenshots, when playing my maus in test server; regarding (Tier 10 TD) Obj 263 camo value.

I suddenly find myself playing this game, and wanting companions. My username is, as you might expect, CrazyMLC.

I'll be on the duh irc.

Dauss you have almost made me cry from the beauty of this, it just makes me so happy
The British tanks look great, some cool new American tanks, awesome new German TD's, aside from the destroyer tractor I am super happy the Sturmtiger is there, French stuff looks wicked, knew the massive FCM would be there, and rocket mounts on the side, that is intense

I just want to show this video, because even if you aren't still stuck on low tier SPG's, the announcer says some really funny things, about noobs in their MS-10s and the like

Having played all of those tanks (and the Wespe), I now feel like an idiot.

I finally got enough experience with the M3 Lee to unlock another tank, so should I choose the M4 Sherman or T1 heavy?
Also this animation is relevant:

I went with the Sherman, it's a good tank. I intended to go for the Jumbo but lost the will to play.

T1 Heavy, the T1 might be mediocre but it leads to the awesome T11E5.

If you prefer mediums go with sherman, the Patton 3 is also still good even though it gets nerfed in 0.8.0.
