Cortex Command has actually already been confirmed for Steam — no need for Greenlight. We don't have an official release date yet, but rest assured that version 1.0 will appear on Steam when it comes out.

That's nice to hear. I was finally going to lay down the cash to get CC after all these years, but before I do that, I want to know if I'll be getting the Steam version free upon release if I do. I'd rather have it on Steam, so if not, I'll probably just hold onto the money until that release.

They plan to update the key page for Humble Bundle purchasers iirc, and im sure they have something in mind for people who bought directly in the past as well.

i'm certain everyone else will get a steam code or just use their old one.

Humble indie bundle people aren't getting keys from us, they already have keys.

The page will get a steam key for it from HIB, or CC will be added to the already existing steam key? I thought the steam key they already got would only contain/link to/whatever the games that initially were on steam. Can it update itself to include CC?
If so, neat.

It is possible for steam to add games to existing packages so I assume that is what will happen here.
