I don't think sending him a more incomplete version would provoke more favorable responses.

Re: The Lounge
I'm going to go ahead and share something that I don't expect much of you to believe, but may provide some enjoyment. I'm not trying to convince that it's true, I just want to get it out.
Straight to the point, I've been having sightings of Gnomes. In real life. Not kidding. Here's the story. Down the block that my house is on, not even 2 minutes away, there is a half paved road leading down a mountain, into a large flat area that has football fields, a community park (which happens to be named Rodriguez Park, which is my last name), and a extremely dense forested area.
The forest ranges from your typical medium sized trees and thin grass, to dense, neck high grass and thicket with streams and bushes running through it, to the "slenderman" forest with very tall trees and a thick foggy atmosphere. There's even a beautiful clearing of perfectly white powdered dirt, that is so clear and bright that on a hot Texas morning, you can see the outlines of clouds. I've tried to race clouds many times while getting a tan and relaxing.
Living in the same place almost my entire life, I was so familiar with the park/forest that I decided to ride my bike there every day for some exercise. So, going there every day, even when busy, has caused me to get stuck there at somewhat bad times, such as a bad thunderstorm, dense fog, and in this case a few weeks ago, very late at night.
I knew I'd been out too long, so I started riding my bike back. Going back up the half paved road, a lamp post illuminating the area very slightly, I saw something scurry across the road. Thinking it was a small dog, I hurried after it, thrilled with maybe catching it. When I got closer though, I was overwhelmed with fear. The creature I was chasing (I could only make out some details from it's silhouette) was a humanoid that was very small, not more that maybe a foot and a half, with a very tall pointed top, which I believe was a hat. It made a extremely loud scurrying sound.
The fear soon vanished though, as I'm quite brave, even to the point of doing stupid things, and along with the thrill of maybe catching it and getting famous for the new species of animal I've discovered, I pedaled as fast as I could towards it. I was disappointed when it outran my bike, seeming to glide across the ground. The creature finished crossing the road and went into the brush at the side, which leads to a sudden 40 or 50 foot drop into a river. I fumbled with my pockets to get a flashlight, pulled it out, and by the time I looked up it was gone.
My friends have all given some theories to what it was. Here's the most prevalent one, and my reason for not believing It. "It was a dog or other small animal." I don't think this because it was fast on it's feet, pretty much supernaturally fast. It outran me easily even at my maximum bike speed. It's silhouette was too thin, tall, and too humanoid as well.
I've been going every day with full gear, a bowie knife, a flashlight that is rigged to stay on my wrist so I can whip it out instantly, hiking boots, a video recorder/camera, and long sleeved flannel shirts and jeans. I don't necessarily want to find "proof", as I already believe in them, but I really want to find out more about them. What if they're "magical" gnomes, or forest gnomes that live and hide in secrecy, or even aggressive animals that are just a step above dumb creatures like dogs? I've only had one sighting since, and I may share it with you guys if you want. The only thing I can do if you want some form of proof that I'm not totally lying, is record the sighting areas and post it, or show a scar I have from the second sighting. (Which was not inflicted by a gnome.)
Even if I get proof, should I share it? Or protect the gnome ecosystem, as dumb as that sounds? How many are there? Is there just one? Do they have magical powers? Can they speak or communicate with humans? Only time will tell the answers as I research more into them, and continue to explore the areas with determination, fear of the unknown, and the drive to discover.

That is very fast, but it is a large dog. What I saw was very very small, and could easily fit in the palm of my hand. It's shape was also not right for a dog, it was too thin and tall (tall in it's proportions) to be a dog, even one standing on it's hind legs.

Re: The Lounge
Oh David, you so silly. It's probably just a party-hat wearing greyhound or something. However, if you want to fix the problem for good, get a flamethrower and burn the forest. When you get caught, just say it was the gnomes that made you do it. They'll never bother you again. inside your padded cell
In all seriousness, gnomes are ♥♥♥♥ creepy. If you're in the market for them, I'd suggest some zombiegnomes. Mmhmm.
Although I don't believe someone can post much in the lounge without getting attention, the real mystery is why I took the time to write all that about gnomes and such.
However, I do hope it was some interesting reading.

You sound like those people on /x/ who are so desperate to believe in the paranormal, that they will grasp at ANYTHING that they can't explain and claim that it is something supernatural, when there are plenty of reasonable and much-more likely explanations aside from "IT WAS ALIENS" or "IT WAS A GHOST" or "IT WAS ASTRAL PROJECTION", etc. etc.
