So, you're probably sitting here reading this thread on a 60hz screen.

Let me enlighten you about 120hz screens.

They've got double the refresh rate (duh) and faster gpu > screen frame drawing. If you're playing a first person game, the increased number of frames means that you can easier determine enemy from friend, enemies in motion and so forth.

It's not as revolutionary as say, virtual reality goggles, but god damn if 120hz isn't better in every way than 60hz screens.

Other than price, that is.

inb4 120Hz CRT's were so gud.

Because, they pretty much were. At least the 100+hz models. Although they had the tendency of burning your retinas.

Your eye can only see approx. 72fps, so more than that is basically useless. It's more a factor of changing FPS that ruins the illusion of smooth motion.

That and the media keeps throwing little over 24fps at us no matter where we turn, so most people really won't tell that much of a difference anyway.

I'd like to remind everyone the reason I didn't become friends with that girl is because I know she was in to me and it would get REAL awkward friendzoning her.
Furthermore I don't make friends just based on similar interests.

Here's the beginning then, if you want to see it. It was a pilot show that never quite made it to TV.

That was the most wasted opportunity for a cartoon series that has ever existed. I would watch the ♥♥♥♥ out of that series.
