Re: Image Dump (Caution Lots of Images) I've been equally confused about the black-and-white images, so I looked it up.
Apparently, those first images were just the rover's hazard cameras -- so, naturally, full colour is unnecessary. As well, they had dust covers on them at the time that the image were taken, so it makes the image blurrier. Soon, though, it should be sending back full colour, stereoscopic 3D images and video. |
