I don't believe you could quite construe it as a threat, since he just asked the reader to imagine such a thing, but it does show enough hostility to not be totally tolerable, I'd say.

Why don't you try to put that camera on your rifle's barrel or maybe on your head, and make a video of you on your shooting range/practice?

On the rifle, if solidly mounted, I imagine the recoil could mess up the camera. If loosely, it'd flop around and you wouldn't be able to see much of anything.
I've never had much luck attaching things to my head, or attaching cameras to things, so I think the latter would be a disaster.

Maybe I will share a video of it sometime, though. Hopefully if I mount an optic, it doesn't fall off in the video like Data's.
