Emo, you can't really get fussy with genres if you refer to EDM/electronic music as "techno". I made the same mistake plenty of times too, but techno is itself a subgenre of EDM.

I don't know, being able to see the secret DEV forums [it didn't have much on it, last I saw, which was years ago] may be a symptom of higher rankings, or game dev status.

DRFF cut down on that ♥♥♥♥ quite a bit. Most of the ♥♥♥holes eventually moved on or actually grew up.
