It's not some stupid move (well, we can't really guarantee that yet, but still) That, (But Still) is where I'm going to stop you. As a 10 year XP user who has had small encounters with Vista And 7, I say Windows 8 is only going to make things worse if Microsoft continues on with this crap. It's almost as if someone took over the company secretly from blackmail and is ruining the name of Windows, turning it into a big steaming pile of nonfunctional ♥♥♥♥. I see it happening every time they announce a new OS. Keep it on a phone, everyone will be satisfied and less knowledgeable that they are just trying to gain another paycheck from the bandwagon masses.

Re: The Lounge
Really, what everyone needs to do is understand that companies don't care about you. They care about your money. However, not specifically YOUR money, but the average Joe's money. If they can find a way to get that money, they will do so. Companies like Valve and Google, while they are coolbros, will only be coolbros as long as they think it will be profitable.

Re: The Lounge

knock-knock A game by the people who made "The void," "Cargo: the quest for gravity" and "pathologic". I'm seeing castle story get all this buzz, but not this. They even manage to make the kickstater page creepy. And the game looks awesome as well, and for at least $5, you can't really go wrong.

You need to realize that you're a really, really tiny minority. Most people have moved beyond XP, and many even beyond Vista. Again, for you, it may seem like a bad move on Microsoft's part, and being somebody who prefers a desktop PC, I'm with you on that. That doesn't mean that most of the market agrees with you, though.

Re: The Lounge
I'd reccomend sticking with Vista or the vastly superior vista version called "Windows seven" untill W9 comes along.
