You animate their cart to behave like a very unhappy horse, but all you get is one large hop.
"Woah! You drivin' us into rocks?"
"There ain't rocks on this path, not since I came down this road a few days ago! Mayhap it's some dead thing?"
"Well, I'm gettin' out to see."

The cart stops, and a tall, rather thin man wearing a black bandana around his neck comes out. He's carrying something... that you've never seen before. It's some kind of device. Long, somewhat thick, and jet black except for a glow you see faintly showing from its far end.

You watch as the man gets out and walks back a bit before spotting John, lying in the middle of the road.
"Hey!" he calls back. "There's a dead guy out here!"

Well, this isn't good.




Ociamarru (Nikolai) (9)

You move quickly and quietly along the path, making sure to remain under cover as much as possible. You're pretty far away from the group now, and you look back to them from behind a natural wall of stone. One of the men is coming out of the cart, and he stops, seeing John seemingly passed out on the ground. Your beast senses easily tell you even from this distance that he's perfectly fine, and only playing dead. You hear the man call out,

"Hey! There's a dead guy out here!"




caekdaemon (Anderson) (8)

You sit stewing over your inability to go out and shred these uncultured swine of patrolmen to pieces.
You begin to breathe heavily and hotly, which seems to bother Gabriel a bit, judging from his questioning look, but he soon ignores it.

Rage +1!




CaveCricket (Raphael) (4)

You morph into a wolf. A tiny wolf, perfectly resembling very cute little puppy that you remember from somewhere...
Then you become human again. This isn't working properly.




Tokochiro (Johni) (7)

You follow Nikolai, since nobody else seems to be moving, and manage to stay pretty well hidden. Better hidden than John, anyway, who is now lying in the middle of the road, in plain sight of one of the patrolmen. You can't quite tell what he's saying from this distance.




Phd (John Adams) (4 + 1 = 5)

You move carefully down the way, aiming to follow Nikolai, who's already moving, but you pay so much attention to the cart that you sneak right into the middle of the road.
"Well, I'm gettin' out to see," says a mean voice from inside the cart, which you are now way too close to.

You do the only thing that comes to mind - you throw yourself on the ground.

"Hey!" You hear the same one yell, this time much closer. "There's a dead guy out here!"



NPCs

Gabriel

Gabriel sits still, letting everyone else act.




Terry

Terry QUIETLY unloads all the rocks that he has in his Hunchback's storage compartment.



Locations
-Phd is lying in the middle of the road, near the main body of the group.
-Ociamarru and Tokochiro are a stone's throw down the road.
-Everyone else is in hiding together.

For those of you who want to know how I actually feel about that:


Here's your, uh... anniversary(?) present:

Terry finishes unloading all of his rocks, only to find that the last one to fall out is glowing white, and perfectly shaped as a most beautiful gem. It is quite large (Major).
"Eh... I guess I'll just hang on to this until we deal with the idiots out there."

Just curious, but can I use the glyph stone for say, faster ability learning in the future maybe?

Do you mean that you want to get a Glyph ability that speeds up your ability to learn passive skills and stuff?
If you mean that, then I'd say no.

What you CAN do with the Glyph is this:
-Acquire one Major ability.
-Upgrade two Minor abilities.
-Upgrade one Minor ability and gain another Minor ability.
-Gain two Minor abilities.

I warn you, though, gaining a bunch of Minor abilities is not the way to go - I will limit what you can do with them. Major abilities don't have so many limits. Also, don't forget that you can attach Glyph abilities to objects, such as Ociamarru's Feral armor.
