Hey, I have a question, what Is that designation stuff at the base design phase?

I think they spawn units with pre-equipped weapons based on your faction.

I use them, but after I have done building nothing happens.

Have you make sure to have enough money/gold?
if you hadn't sometimes next round nothing or small things only are being build.

When I have 2k of gold and put one light infantry designation, I start the game and nothing happens there '-'

I believe they're only for the metagame, they don't seem to do anything in skirmish so if you're using them there nothing will happen.
If they're not working in the metagame that's probably an actual problem.
