To put a bit of life into this thread I just pre-ordered Halo 4 Limited Edition from Game For this pre-order bonus Was it the right choice? It was either Game or Amazon, I was going to do Gamestop but it only had 1 bonus Anyone else pre-ordered/looking into it?

The aesthetic of Halo 4 makes me wanna gag, it completely drops the pseudo-realistic utilitarian look of the humans for something that would look more at home in Metroid Prime. I like Metroid prime, but it just doesn't suit halo
YES! That's why I love it I understand the unappealing aesthetic, especially with Master Chiefs armour, it's all a bit streamlined, but I'll have to make do I was also disappointed with the lack of Legendary, as I might have been able to afford it, but at least there is less separation between the standard, limited and legendary DLC folk
This is also a skin I was considering from Gamestop And from Amazon

No the armor in metroid prime makes more sense than this actually.
Instead of itty bitty shoulder protection samus has proper shoulder protection atleast.

Well, I hate the new armor. The classic one looked great, and it had Halo written all over it. I think that with the different armor a whole different game is coming.
And that sucks.

agreed, for all the modern FPS series, Halo is one of the few with a real iconic look, and changing that to something nigh unrecognizable is bad news. Also, the elite are now soft pink, it makes 'em look squishy.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks ♥♥♥♥ awful? This could/should just be any old SPESS MAHREEN series, there's no want or need to have it be Halo based. Halo is about the damn Spartans, not about the marines. They play a support role, and a few (Johnson) actually matter, but if you're focusing on them, you're doing it wrong.
