Also, some games I just can't get anywhere else.
And it's not just the prices that matter. Steam is great overall.

Re: The Lounge Yeah Steam puts even popular games on sale for things like 50% off on a fairly regular basis
You'd get Skyrim at a higher price most of the time but the Summer Sales are going to start fairly soon and I'd bet Skyrim will be cheaper than 33.98 then

Also I hate to log in to play a singleplayer game (but you can get around that in some cases).

Re: The Lounge Yeah uh, you don't really have to log in to do that, if you just keep the login details on the computer and then just start it in offline mode, don't even have to go online.

Re: The Lounge Got into the DUST:514 beta today. Dug the PS3 out of the closet to find half the cords missing. I'm sure that they're around here somewhere, I just don't know where.

Re: The Lounge You should do more research before judging something. It's not a generic grey/brown FPS. It's an MMOFPS where the things you do actually matter to other people, and can have major impacts.
