Re: Request for B28
Joseh123, as Lizard pointed out, you're not going to get a lot of help or respect unless you communicate clearly. I would suggest that you proof-read your message and make it as coherent as possible before you actually post it.
That said, Tomaster, as usual, you're being unnecessarily rude about this and trying to backseat moderate. Stop it.
Let's try and follow xenoargh's example and actually discuss the topic at hand. If you want to argue with Joseh123 about the specifics of understandable communication, do so in a private message (but please keep it civil).

Re: Request for B28
I am 13 year old, actually... I'm not breaking the forum rules, I have the right age, I talked clear with a bit of no-need-to-read text, and people actually thought they had to read and to complain about it. I just said that my request wouldn't be made, and put some stuff that I thought some people would think it was fun, but I guess that these people are too adult for my 5 year old jokes. Sorry. I'm just gonna try to do serious stuff, without jokes. I will try to laugh at other's jokes, and when someone start a discussion with me I will just try to tell them to stop it. Everything ok between us here?

Re: Request for B28
I still have trouble reading your posts, but regardless:
1. There is no B28, and there never will be. 2. Your request for an actual campaign is never going to happen unless the source code is released, because to create an ACTUAL campaign based off of the fluff, you would need to edit some parts of the source code. Even if weegee's campaign framework works for making mission sets, the kind of work you're asking for requires a better framework that's a lot more polished, and that would require source code edits. 3. Your request is asking for certain elements that don't even fit CC or need more content. The most complex battle technique currently is pretty much "shut all da enemys". Orbital bombardments, artillery, squad gameplay, etc. are far more complex and the style of gameplay would have to be changed significantly.

Re: Request for B28
I've already stopped wanting a campaign when weegee released Cortex Shock and then with the UniTec missions, and thinking about it now, all the weegee missions (specially the Times of Hardship mod). Even though it's not the same as getting an official campaign, it's very, very good, so, from my point of view, asking for a campaign is pretty pointless.
Also, we don't need campaign releases since well, we have the Scene Releases section.

We have some perfectly good artillery/fire support in mods. Abdul's Air Support collection and the strikes Asklar whipped up for the 40K Recomp, for instance. Squad stuff? Tell your other actors to follow a 'leader', and then control him and lead them around! Use Go-To/Waypoint commands!

That mod Mehman made, which was named better AI (for B24) had some very cool concepts and uses on squad control.

Yeah, I don't even need to say: CC is nothing without mods. You buy CC, play it for 5 minutes and go check the forums to see if there is anything else good to do. And there it is: the mods!

Re: Request for B28
So, that said, why bother even posting when there are several mods that fulfill your request, to at least a certain degree?

Re: Request for B28
Ok, let's see what we need for a story-mode campaign taking SHIELD Under Siege as the best example we have for now: - One of a kind set of bunker modules, God knows how much time Gotcha! spent making them. - One of a kind set of scenes, again some piece of Gotcha!'s life. - Nearly one of a kind mod with distinguishable characters. Did I already mention Gotcha!? - A couple of toy-programmers like me and Bad Boy, who can mostly program and nothing else - 9 months of really tedious work with scripting, testing, scripting, testing again, balancing, testing again and again and again. I'm not even saying how many times we stalled during development.
So, you must be a real fanatic like Gotcha! to get almost everything you need first and only then ask (not even ask, Gotcha! just thrown an idea in his UniTec thread) somebody for help TO FINISH IT, not build it from scratch for you.
And speaking of xenoargh's ideas, I guess everything is possible if you put enough effort in it and remove some of the original freedom CC provides to get your RPG system work. You just can't save terrain state like in official campaign.
