So I just got a rectal exam. Turns out I have a tear in my anus that caused some bleeding when I made doo-doo two days ago. Good news: It's easily treatable! Start with a stool softener, eat more fiber, and it give it time to heal. Bad news: If I pass another hard stool, it will hurt like hell. Worst news: During the exam, the doctor said she saw hard stool.
