 Re: Art Dump
Nice drawing! I really like those trapper/explorer kind of characters. You mentioned inking, but from the drawing it looks like pencil only. Did you actually ink it or do you mean refining the original sketch with that?

 Re: Art Dump
Thanks a bunch guys. @Adriaan: The WIP figure is a light pencil sketch which I then go over with a ballpoint pen before erasing.

 Re: Art Dump
a test of the walk cycle in an animation I'm doing (no inbetweens yet), needs tweaking (I think the frame order got mixed up somehow and so the arms, head and tail animation were jacked up but I've since fixed the tail motion)... gotta have something to show by tomorrow... gonna be a long night.

 Re: Art Dump
Increase contrast/edit levels before uploading, it's real hard to make out the lines right now!

 Re: Art Dump
Removed the picture because my drawings are offending a lot of people.

 Re: Art Dump
Forums logins finally started working for me again. now to post what I have been working on in blender. (speaking of which, Geti, play around with the cycles renderer if you arnt already, gives MUCH nicer results then the default renderer.) (You can also PM me if you have a somewhat simple request)

You tried doing a cut in half one? making a good texture for one will have to wait for later this week, im getting a proper art tablet, should allow me to draw up stuff quite a bit faster. thats why the top sliced part of the lemon is hidden in that one. anyways, for todays project, I made a frag grenade. by the way my default resolution is half of 1920x1080, its a good compromise between render time and quality.

Geti, I remember when you started spriting. It's just amazing how far you've come. Congrats on the progress thus far and good luck on your current project <3

 Re: Art Dump
You should do a fancy image of casings falling, so it looks like a still shot from a slow-mo video.

robolee wrote: Yeah, this looks better. But there is no perspective for the scene, all objects are rendered from (roughly) the same (object independent) perspective (i.e 3/4 view)... Except the rocket and terrain but I can't really get around the terrain since it's a slice away and there is no depth to show. I admit the lighting is ♥♥♥♥. Yes! Angry robot missing arm what more do you want.
