So, I'm thinking of trying this, how many of you guys play and do you have a guild?

I propose a toast to myself.

There's a good 3 or 4 or #LD who play DN, and I made a Datarealms guild way back in Open Beta. So yeah, come one come all.

I played it for a while but I don't really like pay to win games if you know what I mean. I'd rather kind of do a one time payment thing, but MMO's like that are hard to come by (There's only one worth mentioning. (Guild Wars)) The other option for me is private servers I guess.
Wait I don't even play MMO's, I shouldn't really be complaining. Then again, I'm hoping to get into PSO2, because PSO1 ep 1, 2, and 3 pretty much raised me.

DN is definitely not pay to win. You can buy some costumes and cosmetic items and get a bit of a stat bonus, but the vast majority of it is based on your skill and your character's level. There's no fast-track to greatness here.

Eh, well, it certainly makes it easier if you have 10,000 protection jellies and can enhance your equipment to kingdom come. Let's not even mention gold-buying sites.

tl;dr > If you have money to throw, yes, you can get pretty good stuff in DN, but it takes quite a bit of cash and even that is completely useless if you're bollocks at the game.

So I was giving alcohol to this girl, expecting to be paid like normal girls pay (ie. with cash), but she gave me a roll full of dimes and some MDMA as payment. Weirdest thing ever.

Was at work today when a horde of Rabbis('s?) came in, all wearing these cool hats, along with awesome beards. It made my day.

So I'm running Windows 8 now. It's uh, pretty much the same as Windows 7, though the task manager is crazyawesome now. Also the whole metro interface thing isn't too bad, it's basically an expanded version of the pin-to-taskbar function. Still messing with it, it's very obviously a tablet OS, but it's not bad on a laptop.

What made my day was finding a fruitful apple tree I'd planted a decade ago and forgotten about.

So, uh... I'm thinking of buying a desktop. Finally. I want to keep the price under 1000$ for sure, but I also want something that's good with gaming. So! I'm asking the interwebs of what they think is a good compoots.
