Provided the script doesn't use MORays, which I don't remember it doing, it should actually be B27 compatible. It is not, however, compatible with any build earlier than 26.

Well, the full incorporation version overwrites some base.rte stuff, primarily the .inis for actors. Since the mod was made for B26, if you installed it on B27, it would overwrite the B27 actor .inis with (modified) B26 .inis, which could break everything. Also, with the new and removed guns and actors of B27, even if the mod still worked, it wouldn't account for everything. So Imperitus robots wouldn't have visible inventory, and actors with visible inventory wouldn't display new guns such as the base.rte battle rifle.

I might update it sometime.

What you COULD do is add an ini file directly in the mod folder, and have it be referenced last in the index.

In this file you'd have copyofs of all the actors, with the attachment added and name not changed, so they'll replace the previous iteration.


This way it's be a bit more futureproof aswell, with just the index and eventual added actors requiring to be adressed.

It seems to not be working, though.
When I do this:

There's no new actor on the buy menu, and ordering Dafred from the Ronin.rte category yields the original rather than the copy.
I imagine if you used Lua to spawn him and specified Dafred from Holster.rte, you'd get the copy, but that's more or less useless.

When I do this:

There's a new Dafred available to order in the buy menu under the holster category, and he works right and is named originally, but the original Ronin.rte dafred isn't changed. So there's no overwriting effect there either.

I have a feeling the answer is right in front of you -- try setting the unrenamed CopyOf (as in, in your first spoiler) as Buyable = 1. Just to be on the safe side.

CC is really finicky like that sometimes.

Ronin Tech category Dafred still doesn't get overwritten, that only makes the Holster category have both of its Dafreds. (which do have working slings)

Oh no you need that to be defined inside Ronin.rte.

It's just an easier way that wouldn't involve going into every actor .ini every time we update anything.
