Development Team - Cortex Command
So yeah, I tried to code Lua with the CC Syntax. I failed so hard, since I don't know all the custom variables/functions/hooks. So, I need a development team. I'll need to put together to following: -Sprite maker (I hate drawing.) -Scripter (More for tracers and such.) -Compiler (Somebody to put all the things together.) I'll simply release the Faction, I have some very good ideas for factions. Just need somebody to help me out. To get in touch, pm me here on the forums.

So, what would your position be in this 'team'? Idea guy? Useless.

Re: Development Team - Cortex Command
No, I can code. I just don't code Cortex Command Lua, I'd set up forums and work with the website. Stop being such a ♥♥♥♥, I'm asking a simple question. A simple Yes/No would suffice.

Ok then, no, you will not be able to get people to make a mod for you. You might have been able to get some interest if A: You were well known as being a good modder, or B: Well known. Currently you have 5 posts and called Urch a ♥♥♥♥, not a very good start. Alternatively you could try the mod request thread, not that many requests are taken up, but your ideas have a better chance of being picked up there rather than here.

walty005 wrote: A simple Yes/No would suffice. Nope. *sits down and watches together with Tomaster*Okay. Seriously, walty005, you aren't going to have any support at all, I can guarantee it. What you're telling people is that you want to release a mod but lack the skill to do anything at all. How is that going to motivate a crew? We all have ideas. The lack of new mods on this forum isn't caused by lack of ideas, it's caused because it's a LOT of bloody work to create a mod. But... but... I can set up forums and a website! There's a forum and website right here. A forum and website made specifically for one mod? Has to be a bloody awesomifying, throat-choking, eye-popping artery clogging mod, that's for sure.

There's a wiki with some documentation (admittedly not a whole lot of it) and a Scripting subforum under Mod Making where you can get help. Simple fact of the matter is that people are not going to line up to help you with a mythical project or series thereof.

Re: Development Team - Cortex Command
You don't need Lua to do anything in CC. It just expands your possibilities for fancy things. Ignore it if you can't do it as of yet, it's unnecessary.

Re: Development Team - Cortex Command
Theres this big difference between "i dont code Cortex Command Lua" and "I really cant". "I dont code..." implies that you dont do many things either. I couldnt code lua at all! Never knew a language close to it, but i tried and tried and eventually succeeded. Great leaders get followers by being the example, you try some stuf. Why be a great leader (or atleast decent), because not for a ♥♥♥♥ is people going to work if you have not.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ ALTHOUGH!!!! if you can code (by your self) a little app that makes it easier to make characters maybe some code that bends the arms and legs for you, or so that you can draw something big and the program shrinks the limb and then animates it. That wil give you some respect. Show us what you got man.

Ask not what the CC community can do for You, but what You can do for the CC community...
