My God! Thats good! Should post my Ronin soldier on here too. Your Ronin is a little too neat (as mentioned..."more improvised armour") for my taste, but that's my tast and its only a bit. Love the alien, love the design good job bro!

I don't understand why people hate the individual ronin, I thought all soldiers in CC were clones anyways? It makes sense that the ronin would have individual clone templates. Think Jango fett and the clone army in starwars.


Also, who are the Techions?

Just checked the CC backstory Promster wrote. Seems that cloning tech is monopolized by one corporation (like any other thing in CC universe). The Ronin have no money for that, so they just steal bodies and use regular people.

Building on that, the whole point of the Ronin is that they're a ragtag bunch of non-clones, so it would make the least sense if they had a single, boring template.

Whitebots is not an answer, don't patronize me. My question still stands, what are the whitebots? I don't see them in the buy menu, they don't appear to be a faction I can select. If you are talking about the the concept art I thought it was fan art.

Also I don't really see a backstory anywhere ingame, so I just assumed everyone was a clone as you can keep buying the same person and a brain controls them, even ronin, so it sounds to me like a empty vessel clone, not an individual. In fact "Half culled clone" is a universal faction unit that doesn't belong to any one tech. By reasonable assumption I concluded that the tradestar has a cloning facility that pours down your orders in drop ships. Other players I was playing with came upon the same conclusion, where is the official backstory?

Also what faction specializes in clone?

The whitebots are the white robots.

The only faction specialized in clones seems to be the Coalition.

The Imperatus, Dummies and Techions use robots. The Uzari uses unfinished clones, but they are basically just skeletons.

So, is this story still going into the game, or has the meta game replaced that project entirely? (I know CC is approaching V1 so...) Some of these concepts would be amazing, shotgun turret and brute brain bot

Techion are being added 'right now' - a "Silver Man" was recently added to the development build according to the twitter feed, and the Imperatus are getting updated with more weapons (and hopefully more units soon).

I think the only factions we aren't going to see are Uzira and Mu'Ilaak remnants, since the 'classic campaign' aspect has been canned in favour of the metagame for now.

We can still be hopeful for the game using the Cave Vehicle Engine though.

Really? That game was still really sandboxy, and probably won't use any CC artwork.

I remember DaTa saying that the game w/ the CVE will be based in the CC universe.

I don't know if that'll hold true, not so far as to take the campaign.

uhh it's been majorly hinted that there's a possibility of a CC2 and if there was it would use the CVE engine.
