I would like to see distinction between male and female outfit. Also, would really like to see more play on body proportions instead of a bunch of clones with different makeup.

Maybe the Ronin are from a country that isn't the USA.

Not all countries have a major black minority, for example, in Finland, there's barely any black people at all.

A black Ronin is a good idea. In action movies there is always a black guy that saves everyone, or that dies saving everyone.



And that too, I hate the fact that Ronins are the same actor with a different heads.

My personal favorite too.


Looking up the name "Ronin", it means "samuri without a master". What I thought was that the Ronin would be an anti-brain-link criminal group. They would be former brain-linked troops gotten freed from control, then became space outlaws. However, the description on Promster's page says that:

So they do use brain-link, whether the subject like it or not.
I'm not entirely sure if I like this. It's a very good dark twist, but then where does the name "Ronin" come into play? Furthermore, what dumb bloke would be desperate enough to rent his body to the Ronin? The chance of that body coming back in one piece is literally zero. (We are all very experienced commanders by now, aren't we?)

Well, if we assume the Ronin aren't beyond resorting to piracy and outright theft, then perhaps they occasionally hijack freighters full of debrained/muted clones/convicts/etc. and use them as footsoldiers?

Desperation can drive people to do a lot of stupid things. The Ronin probably use cover organizations to offer exorbitant rewards (which they never have any intention of actually paying out) for people to rent their bodies to the company, when in fact they're being shuffled along to serve as expendable troops for major Ronin assaults.

Where's the "Heavy Ronin"?
I think Ronin should have an armored soldier. Not power-armor or mech thingies, just more armored, like, the drawing you made of the Pelian Light. But more Ronin looking.

A helmet would be a good start. It's sad watching Fred jerk around in the dirt with .25 of his head missing.

Poor Fred would already be helped a lot if his hair wouldn't contain major arteries.
