From what I remember from this mod, its quite laggy on pre-B27 builds. Be warned.

I just went to play with DarkStorm, since I haven't in a while, and holy ♥♥♥♥ is it broken. Half the guns don't work because of the lua issues, and all the fun little things with the actors don't work either. Arcalane, you were right; needs some serious love and attention.

There's also the issue that every weapon has wound limits of something like 3 or so, which means that the expensive-as-hell grenade MG with attachments you just bought won't last more than two seconds in combat.
Or maybe that's by design, I don't know. Seems to be the kind of thing that would be a holdover from when some game mechanic made the weapons harder to destroy. Thing is, there's a lot of balance issues too that would need to be addressed for a real update to B27.

Sorry to bring this post back to life... But Im new to cortex command and absolutely love it. I have it running off the macbook air, and spent a good hour or two last night trying to figure out how to get the mods installed. Got them working!
Needless to say, I have one question.
On the stealth suit (f*n sweet btw), and on any character for that matter without a jetpack, he doesnt jump (except medic walker/droid). I tried to get into the keyconfig as well to configure the secondary attack/melee/grab but since Im running off a mac it says I do not have the proper program to open it. Anybody else run into this issue and does anyone have some intelligent insight into resolving this?

it's just a text file, open it with any text editor.

Thankyou I appreciate that... I did figure it out, mac didn't have a text editing program that lua would work with so I had to download one. Needless to say I have another issue, Why doesn't Yuurei Bushi/stealth suit jump when I press the up button. He does not climb either. Ive looked through just about every bit of code over the past hour and its bugging me.
All he can do is move left and right and duck... Anybody else have this issue?

So umm, I have been trying to update this mod my self for personal use, I uped the gibwoundlimit and things no longer break instantly....
How would I go about fixing the lag though? Is it the LUA coding like the abilities are?
