Re: B27 Bug Reports
I don't know if this really constitutes as a bug, but humans' AI aiming compensates for bullet drop, doing so based on an assumed bullet speed. This means that in AI hands, accurate weapons with abnormally fast projectiles (or low gravity projectiles) are terrible, if not useless, at long range, when the opposite should be true. Attachment:

Edit: The drl twitter says this has been fixed already, nice.

Moving away from that part of the screen put things back to normal. This one has been happening since at least B23, it's some sort of scene wrapping glitch that occurs when you don't have X Wrap on (i.e. when the scene isn't wrapped). You may also notice that parts of terrain objects that go off the scene on the right side show up on the left when actually playing on the map. The rest of them are new I think, or at least I haven't experienced them in previous versions.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
Dummy Impact Grenade Launcher projectile explodes automatically a very short distance from the soldier firing it (maybe twice their height) every time I pull the trigger.
Unless thats a deliberate nerf - in which case, what the ♥♥♥♥ man? This faction sucks enough already without ruining their only decent weapon.
And I'm sure someone's mentioned it already, but mounting an expedition to a new site, and having three AI brain dropships spawning in collision with the player's craft, destroying it instantly.

Also, if you have an AI teammate, then when you choose the landing zone they will land there and you are swapped to whatever landing zone they chose.
Plus there seems to be no way to set pre-sets before first deployment, or save them between campaigns. Whenever I clear the ones you have, they simply come back. I have to spend several minutes configuring my pre-sets, by which time somethings jumped over and shot me in the face.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
I don't know if this is new to b27 since I haven't been around in awhile so you might already know this. If you bring in too many soldiers, about 10, and set them to "Brain Hunt" mode they spaz out and will shoot at teammates. This won't cause any damage but the bullets will connect and leave the gunshot mark that, instead of sticking on the actor, stay floating in the background. Taking control, walking a few steps, and letting the AI take over again resets them where it might happen again.
I should mention that I have a pretty slow computer and I only tested this on Dummy Assault which has a fair amount of actors and path finding to keep track of, so maybe it's just me.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
You have more than 255 MOIDs (actors, guns, etc.) in the game, when you have more than 255 MOIDs strange things occur and random units gib. Press CTRL+P to see the number of MOIDs (along with other info like fps).

Re: B27 Bug Reports
Yeah, the MOID thingie should really have some changes.
Because, I spent like 8000 oz on a site and it was so overcrowded and it had so many MOIDs that wierd ♥♥♥♥ happened at every single second.
EDIT:
Also, found a bug. It was day six/seven on campaign with four players, two on team 1 and two on team 2 with 6 sites. When the last site appeared, it didn't appear in the planet, it appeared somewhere far above the screen.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
Couple of major bugs IMO (both probably already listed):
1) Sometimes gold sites will appear beyond the capability of your resolution/window. You have to change resolution to fix this...shouldn't happen.
2) AI will often go into negative gold for (seemingly) no apparent reason and then the metagame just continues forever with them never attacking because they have no gold. At that point you have basically "won" but it doesn't end.

I am also having issues with the mouse glitch and AI using long rage weapons tend to spaz out.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
All bugs i actually wrote in the dev log comments:
1. Sometimes (rare) in the campain (against the AI) you cant shoot the enemie (so they cant shoot you, too).
2. Coalisation Missile Launcher in aim mode blow up the missile a half secound after every shot (not the unaimed missiles!).
3. When the Coalisation Missile Launcher or the Autocannon are ‘on the floor’ you cant pick them up, only very rarely.
4. I noticed that when you shoot from a great distance on opponents, for example with the sniper, they almost never try to take you down, they mostly ignore you. (dont know if this is really a bug)
5. False information in the game:
Thumper has a ‘impact mode’ and a ‘bouncing mode’. ‘Bouncing mode’ is not correct, it should be called ‘timeset explosion mode’ or something like that (in ‘bouncing mode’ the grenades dont bounce, they only explode after a specific time).
btw: Can I change difficulty in Campain? (NOT scenario!)

Re: B27 Bug Reports
I ended up in an oddly fast speed mode. Not everything was sped up though, the AI's reactions were terribly slow. All I know is that my deltatime is set to .045, and I had been alt-tabbing in and out alot. Also, saving the campaign in the middle of a battle has some problems, to be expected. When I reloaded the campaign, we started at the beginning of the battle, most of my units had different guns (They were preset from the autobuild) and everyone was on patrol mode. Also, my brain had been moved back to a position it had been in when my base was about half the size.
Edit : Speed glitch is still happening. I think I remember the problem from previous builds, some lua script changed a variable somewhere that didnt get changed back. .ini hunting time...

Re: B27 Bug Reports
I am experience an issue with auto build while playing campaign mode. I prefer to have it off but it builds as if auto build were on frequently. I consistently make sure to remove the check mark but the game continues to use funds allocated to build new structures and deployments. This is particularly bothersome when it adds new brain deployments as it moves my brain frequently in my last game. I have noticed this in games ranging from the shortest possible to the longest, but is most noticeable during the long game where other than new deployments nothing else structure wise is needed since one of the first things it does is add a brain deployment which takes priority over the ones i placed and where i have placed the brain.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
I am so glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing issues with fullscreen and more. Azakan wrote: If you are playing a modded tech like (Unitec or my own (private) mod) sometimes when you allocate founds to auto build a base and press end turn (when the base is sopposed to be built) it just crashes with no error. I've found that, and also (I always set autobuild to on) sometimes in vanilla (the more players, the more likely it is to happen) it stops responding if the end turn button is pressed.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
Quite often my actors will get spooked by something and start frantically shooting at a random patch of ground or sky. There are often no enemies at all in the area, and no particular trigger seems to be present for their behaviour. Two or three in the same area will often focus on roughly the same target, while others nearby may stand around as normal.
This behaviour goes on for 1-10 seconds and the only cure seems to be to take control of the actor and move them away from the area.
It happens in regular skirmish mode, and I don't play with any major modifications installed which could feasibly affect AI behaviour.

Re: B27 Bug Reports
I would appreciate if someone were to confirm this, but it seems as though when you have a team, your teamate has very, very high success ratio of winning auto-resolved battles (ones you arent in). For example, New site pops up, enemy goes after it and teammate goes after it. If i do not partake i can almost promise my teamate will win. Unless i did something to accidently create this glitch, it should definitely be looked into.
