For anyone who is wondering how they acquire their copy of Cortex, here are the ways to do so.

• If you bought your copy through one of the Humble Indie Bundles:
  Simply go to the HIB page through which you normally access your games. The updated build will be uploaded within a few days of it coming out. There is also a steam key accessible on the HIB page, simply go to your HIB2 or 3 page and check the steam keys section.
  
  
• If you bought your copy through the Data Realms website:
  Make sure you have the email address and key that you were emailed after purchasing. Keep these safe, as they are your licensing username and password.
  Head to http://licensing.datarealms.com/licensing/ and enter your email in the field labelled that, and the key as the password. After passing through, the downloads for the latest builds will be there.

If you lost your email or key, you'll need to find them. In case you lost one or both, contact this guy and he'll help you out as best he can.

So, hopefully "within a few days" is a bit of an overstatement, right?

Oh, I didn't know scancode was still employed. I haven't seen him around in a looooong while.

I type in my email adress and code into the licensing thing, hit login and it just loads for 15 minutes then refreshes the page.
What am I doing wrong?

What if the email associated with my purchase was disabled, then deleted?

Derp, I'm an idiot. Nevermind.

When I clicked download windows build my norton antivirus said the file was infected and removed it.
So i guess the windows build is a virus?

If you wish to believe such a sucky anti-virus.

Why do you have to call it sucky, i paid money for it, and it works damn fine.

Norton is quite infamous for being very paranoid. And the program makes it as hard as possible to allow some file it has blocked.
There are free alternatives that do the job much better.
Oh, and Norton's anti-virus source code was leaked some time ago, iirc.

I bought Cortex Command earlier today and the google wallet page said instructions would be sent to my email address. It's been more than 6 hours since I bought the game and I still don't have the email. Do I just need to wait longer or has something gone wrong?
