The offsets won't be a problem, it will be much more aesthetic if the limbs 'float' in the air while disintegrating. Tweaking the GlobalAccScalar of the actor while it disintegrates would make it look even better. I've also thought about making the actor and it's limbs spam some gray pixels around, making it look as if it was turning into dust.
HOWEVER I still haven't managed to get it working
The effect is for a plasma rifle (VERY similar to the one in Fallout 3 and NV) that shoots emitters, which on impact damage the actor with both sharp pixels and lua removing the health of the actor based on it's mass, similarly to the vanilla ground flame script. || The effect itself comes to place when the actor's health reaches 0 when shot.
I might eventually just go with the pixel damage, but in case anyone ever comes up with anything, I'll leave this here.
