I got in around B18; being so used to the older methods of jetpacking makes it hard to get anywhere now you can't burst jet. That method still works for rockets so I'm pretty bloody good at flying them.

Moving actors around on foot has to be my weakness. I have a b*stard of a time trying to get them to climb ledges, ladders and even just crawl around. About the only thing I'm good at with actors is crash-diving into cover when something like a Dreadnought opens fire.

There wasn't really much of a learning curve, just getting the feel for the actors and weapons, what kind of things work and what fails spectacularly. Probably one of the most important things to learn is multi-tasking attack, defense, gold mining and buying reinforcements. Half the trick to beating Dummy Assault is having a second attack waiting in the wings and at least some kind of defense. Focusing on getting one man in is a sound strategy for a quick win, but you have to be ready to respond if it goes pear-shaped.

this.

playing CC "well" is mostly about learning what weapons you do best with and just using them

I'm a Remote GL and RPG-7 kind of guy.

Pertaining to vanilla weapons, I've always loved the Heavy Sniper Rifle and Heavy Pistol (before that, Auto Shot Pistol). They both give a large amount of firepower. But if I'm restricted to Ronin weapons, then the Kar98 or the M1 Garand work well.

Excluding lag, my favorite gun is the coalition assault rifle. With lag it kinda sucks though.

I use load outs for what I want to do(ex. CQC shotguns and shields with heavy armor)and the first time I played CC I maneuvered well and put tricks up my sleeve.I've learned to manuever the rocklet to enter a bunker, fly through it's hallways, and blow the ♥♥♥♥ out of the heart of the base(Brain mostly on Dummy Assault).I'm a fast learner so I'd be a challenge on a future multiplayer build of CC.

Flying a rocket upside down is at it's strongest when you fly it up close to space and ram that thrust key spiraling it down to penetrate bunkers better and deadlier.

You don't really need to fly upside down to get it high.
You can just, y'know, turn it around in the air, maybe.

Bad wording,I meant fly it normally up to space then fly it upside down spiraling towards the ground.

You're not good untill you can fly rockets upside down.

this took about 2-3 weeks for me.
imo, your not good till you can not die at all with one actor.

Only way to do that in CC is to build a panic bunker, still: One doesn't simply survive in CC. :)

I always fill up my panic rooms with guns.

Loads and loads of guns.

i would do this, but my guns strangely settle into the terrain if they sit too long.
i had to adjust the delta time to re compensate for lag.

But honestly, around 10 minutes. I'm glad I got a hang of it quickly.

Learning to play the game is really, really easy. Learning the tricks and how to be good takes marginally longer.
The learning curve of CC isn't steep at all, unless you count a gentle incline as steep.

But the game isnt meant to be hard, its meant to be fun and awesome, it does this quite well.
