The Hacksaw is a heavy, serrated sword stamped from pig iron and corroded by rust and blood. It'll probably give people tetanus.

You're on the last building, and there's a clearing and road ahead of you on the ground before the gate. 2 soldiers are guarding the gate, and several people are quickly walking towards their unknown destinations, not wanting to stay very long ou in the rain.

Name : Dandelion Bryant (TorrentHKU) [ 5 + 1 + 1 ] = 6 > Running and jumping after the running soldier, you fly-kick him in the head and a rewarding *SNAP* is heard as his neck breaks. The man tumbles face-first into the ground, and you turn around to face the mage and soldier.
The mage is standing up with his hand held pointed at you, and a sword is sticking out of his gut. His body goes limp and falls over, revealing a boy around 15 or so standing behind him with a bloody sword in hand.
"Whelp, better get moving before someone's missed."
Wiping the sword on the wet grass to clean it, he sheaths the weapon and waves to the others, who head towards the two of you. When they get close, you see that there's a girl maybe 12 years old holding a large, furry bat-like creature, and another one is standing at her left. At her right is one a pup of your kind, sniffing at the dead bodies.

Painfully standing up, you stagger drunkenly and dizzily into the closest tavern, because that's close enough right. There aren't a lot of people in here, and the few that are look rather drunk, so you should blend in just fine.

Lifting your head up from the table, you stretch your arms out in front of you and knock over several tin mugs that were once filled to the brim with beer.
Looking around, you find yourself in a tavern that has a few people in it and a tall, skinny cloaked fellow who stumbles drunkenly in through the door.
Man, you must've drank a hell of a lot because you can't remember how the hell you even got here.

Walking over to the bat-thing that the girl is holding, the boy says a few words to it (her?) without any response.
The one standing speaks up:

"... Alright. We'd better get to the city soon before more of these guys show."
Searching the mage, you grab a shortsword and its sheath off of his belt and a rather large ruby attached to a leather strap off of his wrist. You follow the others as they head west and eventually hit a massive forest. A path not too far off cuts straight into the trees.
