This. It slows me down. I must not be slowed down.
At one point, I used ObjectDock. It was nice becoose it popped up fast and some bars never really hid themselves, they just went behind windows.
But eh, I just keep coming back to using the Win7 taskbar.

I used auto hide for a while, but if ever a program lags you're suddenly in ♥♥♥♥ stuck country, with only overkill means of escape. Also anytime I wanted to click something near the bottom it would get in the way, which was a pain in the ass. Now on my Win7 PC I have the taskbar at the top, and I DEFINITELY don't want it to pop up like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up there, when I'm trying to close things.

On my Xubuntu PC (this one, scrapputer), the one of the taskbars is considerably thinner and more XP like, and at the top by default. The other is thicker, more like rainmeter, and autohidden at the bottom. Not only that, but there is a line of four pixels along the bottom - a visible space I know will pop the thing up if I move into it, so I do far less of it by accident on this PC than my other one.

Yessssss. Finally found my old desktop backround, mercilessly killed by Mehman's fake crab virus. Also Rainmeter. Need to figure it out. Like how to get the Tasks app to work.

You are going to hate me for this. In your nightmares, at least.

And yes I have 2 monitors.

Use DisplayFusion to get two different wallpapers. And multi-screensavers.

Old reaction image, but I'll take my chances.

I only have 3 gig of ram. My brother on the other hand is a PC enthusiast.

He has 16 gig.

Buddy of mine has 24g of ddr3, and crossfired something or others. I don't even think win-7 can use that much raom.
