Might have gotten a half decent server working. Not sure though. Still need to figure out the controls a bit better if I'm going to do anything multiplayer related.

One other thing: how do you freely move your camera, without having to be behind your ship at all times? Well, I guess we can talk more once in-game.

Shift key, then use your mouse to move the camera. Pretty useful to inspect damage on the hull, atleast when said damage ain't gone through the other side.

Maybe tomorrow. I've had enough space combat for today.

I've just sent unwoundpath my IP address in hope the direct connect will throw me a bone and connect properly.

I think I might have just nailed the multiplayer system.

Hamachi. We can then use the games inbuilt LAN system instead of trying the online mess.

Made a hamachi network.

Its called Data Realms Fan Forums, password cortex

Now we can use the LAN in STBC and pray that works.

I think I might have figured out the multiplayer for Star Trek Bridge Commander.

However... You can use things like IPXWrapper to emulate it and restore IPX capabilities to games like Warcraft 2, Red Alert 2 and Army Man RTS.

Here's hoping this thing works, but I cant test it since harzipan and unwoundpath are offline now :S
