Re: The Lounge
Asklar wins.
I haven't felt much physical pain in a while. When I was small I fell backwards off a pram onto a tiled floor and chipped both my front teeth - can't remember it though.

Re: The Lounge
I was holding a firework over a grill, thinking it was taking forever to light. I didn't realize it was already used once, and I guess from being burnt for like five minutes, it somehow exploded AGAIN, basically lighting my forearm on fire.

Re: The Lounge
A dog mostly ripped off a finger when I was around five or six. It got reattached, and it's fine now. No complications, and virtually no scarring. 'Cept for my fear of large dogs.

The worst physical pain that has ever happened to me was (seriously) an ingrown toenail.

suburban life #middleclassproblems I've never had a huge massive injury, but I did get a lot of beatings back in my younger days. I suspect the constant haze of pain has contributed to my modern...deviance.

Re: The Lounge
I used to be rather stupid and lacked common sense.
Me and my brother put our blankets on the staircase, covering up the entire thing with a smooth blanket slide. We then got a third blanket, and used it as a cart to sit in as we skidded down the stairs.
It went surprisingly well for around half an hour, until I tried a new sitting position with my legs directly straight.
Yeah, you can see where this is going.
The blanket pulled away from me, and my legs slammed into the hard floor.
My one leg came out pretty fine, the other decided to go into a wall.

Re: The Lounge
worse pain for me was sometime last year, for some reason i had the worse cramps in all of existance to the point, even breathing feels like someone stabbing my stomach / chest with a knife (been stabbed before, know how it feels).
As the Britfag i am, i just shrugged it off.

In unrelated news, The pirate bay is now blocked in the UK. Oh well. Now, back to the injury topic.

Re: The Lounge
Huh, so they actually have done it. Not that it'll stop anyone, of course. It's helpless thrashing about from the courts, and there are plenty of other sites you can use.

One of Finland's largest ISPs was ordered to block tpb too, a few months ago iirc. Elisa. Had to take the effort of looking up a mirror for the site :<
