HARK
The heretics will burn this day, cleansing DRLFF in a sea of blood and floating charred eyeball matter.
...as soon as we can find them, because unfortunately, we seem to have misplaced the local supply.

Finally, I was missing Grif's power to make everything shiver in ban-fear.
How was your time on your duties, Grif?

Re: Welcome back, Grif!
Grif was doing something in the military while he was gone, right? So how many people did you kill, and was it like Black Hawk Down?

Re: Welcome back, Grif!
He was a translator so he talked a lot. I don't know if you kill people as a translator, or even if that's an appropriate question to ask a war vet. Seems kind of intrusive and rude, especially because they might have PTSD.
But anyways, welcome back bro. Go kick some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass.

Re: Welcome back, Grif!
I've always found it kind of a dickish thing to ask a soldier, "SO HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU KILLED BRO." It's not something casual like your kills in an online game... you're talking about real human lives. That's heavy stuff, regardless of whether or not you'd consider the people killed to be "enemies." I don't think any mentally healthy human could kill someone, even in self-defense or accidentally, and be totally guilt-free, or just take it in stride. There are WWII vets who still have nightmares about what happened to them and what they did 70 years ago.
^Note that I realize David was probably being off-hand/joking as he said that, so this rant isn't particularly directed at him and it might not really apply to Grif so much, but I'm just putting that out there.
